These luncheons offer several benefits to our attendees.
Who can attend?
Business owners only. If you are an independent agent but still under the umbrella of another company (ie; MLM, mortgage sales rep, realtor), then you are not allowed in. All attendees must run their own registered business to attend. Otherwise, it dilutes the group dynamics if we allowed everyone to attend. There is no fun in that.
What else is needed?
All attendees must fill out a profile of them and their business. This includes contact information, what you do and who you do it for, and more. We then take this information and compile it into word document file that is then printed out and handed to all attendees. Every attendee will have on hand the biography of each attendee. You are still encouraged to exchange business cards but why bother when you have every piece of information of each attendee on hand. This makes for follow up and keeping in touch with each other far more easier.
When?
Thursday April 19th, 12-1:15pm, Busara Thai Restaurant . You can register here but only if you received the password. Cost is $10 nonrefundable. You then pay for your own lunch along with tax and gratuity. We recommend tax and tip to be about 25% of your lunch.
What to expect?
Founders Table Lunches are promoted as a low key networking and peer to peer group alternative. It is without all the hype and cost of speakers and sixty second speeches which often turn into five minute spiels by the uneducated. Some attendees are startups, others are small businesses, some are B2C and others are B2B, and yet others are just established entrepreneurs who want to soak in the company of other like minded change agents. But we all have our own business and the benefits and costs associated with it.
Rules?
We don’t believe in rules. But we do believe in proper etiquette. Our goal is pretty simple- to act as an alternative to the high end luncheons and supposedly lead generation that other groups offer. We encourage our attendees to support each other and lend a helping hand to your fellow entrepreneur. We don’t do hard sales pitches at our events but encourage connection and meaningful dialogue about entrepreneurship.
Great food. Great conversations. Great business. That’s what The Founders Table is all about. Take your seat at the table today.
